Smoke Like Marley

Cannabis News

Ever wanted to smoke like Marley?  Well, now you can!

Cannabis News: New Trends

The newest trend in the ever burgeoning cannabis culture is branded celebrity weed.  Anyone who has ever smoked pot in their life — and most people who haven’t — know that Bob Marley not only put out a lot of groovy tunes, but he also smoked more weed than probably all of Colorado combined (I have no evidence of this).  He is the most iconic stoner of our time, so it’s no surprise that his namesake will be the leader in the celeb strain revolution.

Called Marley Natural, the new brand will offer “heirloom Jamaican cannabis strains.”  What that means is Marley Natural will claim to offer smokers the very same pot Bob Marley smoked himself.  Marley Natural will also sell smoking accessories, as well as creams and lotions.

Marley’s daughter, Cedella said, “My dad would be so happy to see people understanding the healing power of the herb.  He viewed the herb as something spiritual that could awaken our well-being, deepen our reflection, connect us to nature, and liberate our creativity.”  She went on to say the brand would be an “authentic way to honor his legacy by adding his voice to the conversation about cannabis and helping end the social harms caused by prohibition.”

Who Else Is Joining In?

Here is what I want to know:  Who else is jumping on this celebrity strain bandwagon?  I know the Marley family isn’t going to be the only one putting out custom weed.

Will I be able to get a case of the giggles with Seth Rogen weed?  Or how about some James Franco weed, where I’m laughing but also pondering how super aroused I am?

Can I smoke some Rhianna weed on an experimental Friday night?  Before I go to the club, will Snoop Dogg weed get me in the mood for some dancing, and perchance a rap battle?

Will I be able to get full-on glossed over and immobile with Doug Benson weed.  (As a side note, I think Doug Benson is hilarious.  The reason I dedicated the immobile weed to him is because — and remember weed is my business — I’m pretty sure if anyone on the planet tried to smoke as much weed as him, they would die.)

Although I live in North Carolina where recreational marijuana is still illegal, I will try to get my hands on some Marley Natural products.  Be expecting a stoned product review sometime in the future.
