7 Habits of Highly Effective People

There is nothing worse than the assumption that stoners are lazy and ineffective people.  In fact, there is nothing lazy or ineffective about most people who smoke.  A lot of us have our routines to ensure that, while we are high, we are also productive.  Here are 7 habits of the most HIGH-ly effective stoners.

 

1. Know your limits

Basically, what this means is knowing when enough is enough.  We’ve all been that “melt into your couch because you can’t move your legs” high, but at that point, nothing will get done for the rest of the day.  Highly effective stoners know when enough is enough, and furthermore, will stop themselves from smoking too much if they have tasks to complete.

 

2. Be active

Speaking of your couch, don’t just sit on it all day.  Go out and enjoy some physical activities like hiking, swimming, or fishing when you’re stoned.  Also, I have noticed that indoor trampoline parks are a new hot thing, and what could possibly be more fun than bouncing around a room of trampolines when you’re high?  This way you will get exercise (which your body will thank you for), as well as work up a real appetite for those munchies.  Playing video games and having Netflix marathons are good for rainy Sundays, but that’s it!

 

3. Be creative

Channel your strategy for Call of Duty into something artsy.  Whether it be with words or in pictures, get your creative juices flowing and create something you can be proud of.  If you’re having trouble getting in the groove at home, take a class.  There are a lot of public resources that are underappreciate these days, including free or cheap public education.
