While the federal government still labels marijuana as a Schedule 1 drug with no accepted medical use, a growing number of medical researchers are boasting about the health benefits of consuming the non-psychotropic raw cannabis leaf. That’s right, my friends, marijuana (in raw form) is nothing short of a superfood, loaded with a shit ton of nutrients.
One of the most beneficial “ingredients” found in pot is cannabidoil (CBD), which is a non-psychoactive, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer nutrient compound. Apparently, CBDs bridge the gap of neurotransmission in the central nervous system, providing a two-way system of communication that completes a positive “feedback loop” — much like the body’s own two-way communication system (according to Dr. William Courtney, founder of Cannabis International). Simply put, CBD may be capable of preventing and reversing a number of chronic illnesses, including cancer, arthritis and lupus – Ugh, if only we all had access to this miracle plant!
Anyway, for those of you who DO have access, medical researchers say the most effective way to obtain CBDs is by juicing raw cannabis leaves. In other words, get yourself a cannabis smoothie, mayne!

How to Make Edibles: Cannabis Smoothe
Ingredients for two 8-oz servings:
½ cup of hemp milk
1 tbsp of hemp seeds
1 tsp of flax seeds
½ cup of green kale
¼ cup of cucumber
2 slices of cantaloupe
1/2 cup of fresh raw cannabis
Add water and ice. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass or whatever, and enjoy! Get crazy!
Hmm… Now, I can’t help but think Pinky and the Brain may have had better luck at taking over the world if they had access to such a powerful superfood!
(Oh, and, just in case you didn’t quite get it… You need to use fresh cannabis leaves. The dried shit you smoke will not give you the same health benefits.)
