Not having weed sucks. Really, really sucks. And, we know that sometimes not having weed will drive people to do some pretty drastic things. Maybe you’re hitting up your old guy, even though he is super creepy and uncomfortable. Maybe you sent an awkwardly worded Facebook message to someone you had one class with 4 years ago but looks like he still sells weed. Maybe you’re just walking around the mall saying “Drugs” until someone responds positively. Whatever it may be, it’s not nearly as desperate as this guy.
Earlier this month, a Florida man was arrested after mistakenly texting the Martin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit looking to buy some bud.
Twenty-nine year old William Lamberson of Port St. Lucie thought he was texting friends about finding weed, and, somehow, ended up texting Captain Brian Bergen instead. Now, either Lamberson has the worst luck possible, or he was paying absolutely zero attention to what he was doing.
Lamberson scheduled a meet up with the police department, where he was promptly arrested. Maybe next time he will save his contacts a little more thoroughly. Or, at least, vet his convenience store friends a little more.
