Oregon

On November 4, 2014, 56% of Oregon voters overwhelming approved Measure 91, which legalized the private use, possession, and cultivation of limited amounts of marijuana by adults 21 and older. There is no fine or penalty for possession of 1 ounce or less of marijuana in public. However, the use of any marijuana is a class B violation punishable by a maximum fine of $1,000.
