Willie Nelson back in the Cannabis News
At 82 years old, Willie Nelson has scored is his first #1 album with ‘Band of Brothers‘ since 1986’s ‘The Promiseland’. Now, this month, he’s back on the cover of Rolling Stone since 1978. Who says stoners are lazy again? We’re also talking about a guy who tours nearly 150 days per year! Did we mention he’s 82?
Willie has been busted for pot multiple times but says he doesn’t worry much about it anymore. “They mostly want autographs now,” Nelson says of the law. “They don’t really bother me anymore for the weed, because you can bust me now and I’ll pay my fine or go to jail, get out and burn one on the way home. People know they’re not stopping me.
“Weed is good for you,” he adds. “Jesus said one time that it’s not what you put in your mouth, it’s what comes out of your mouth. I saw the other day that [medical] weed is legal in Israel – there’s an old-folks home there, and all these old men were walking around with bongs and shit. Fuck! They got it figured out before we did!”
